Updated: Jan 7, 2022

Set the tone for your day by following 3 simple morning rituals. It's an opportunity to improve your mood, increase productivity, reduce doubt and increase confidence.

What is A Morning Ritual?

A morning ritual is something that you do to start your day on a positive note. Just a few simple tasks to help me focus and increase my productivity throughout the day.

Having a set routine where you do the same thing every morning is really a critical part of your day. It’s choosing to have a consistent practice to ensure you won’t start your morning feeling overwhelmed and off-center. The morning time belongs to you, and it’s when you will set the tone for the rest of your day.

Here are 3-morning rituals I do every day to empower my day.

Meditation

Meditation helps you start the day positively. Taking a few minutes to focus on your mind and body can reduce stress. Here are a few benefits of Meditating daily:

  • Reduces Stress

  • Makes you grounded

  • Improves focus

  • Awareness

  • Attention

  • Calm

  • Declutter your mind

Exercise

Mornings are the best time to work out. You are left with a burst of energy.

A morning exercise jumpstarts your cells. You can walk, run, and engage in cardio to get your blood flowing. After your workout, a healthy breakfast such as oats, smoothies, or a bowl of fruits also helps to keep the energy flowing for the remainder of the day.

Benefits of An Early Morning Work-Out:

  • Increase energy

  • Focus

  • Better Mood

  • Loose weight

  • Blood and Glucose control

  • Leaves time for other prioritizes

  • Reduces Stress and Depression

Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes, according to mindtools.

Practicing affirmations regularly creates positive thought patterns and this creates neuroplasticity in the area of the brain that processes what you’re thinking about.

Here are a few positive affirmations:

  • I am energetic and enthusiastic. Confidence is my second nature.

  • I am an amazing gift to myself, my friends, and the world. I am too much of an amazing gift to feel self-pity.

  • I am beautiful in and out

  • Today, I make good choices that lead to positive results in my life.

  • Today I choose to feel great about myself and my life.

  • I will speak positively and my words will have a positive effect on those around me.

  • My life is amazing and nothing can stop me today.

  • I am productive today and every day

  • I am mindful

  • I am in the moment

  • I am one with the universe

Conclusion

You are what you do every day including special routines in your daily schedule, you can turn your life around for the better. Start your own and train yourself through practice.

Choose your routines with capability and commitment in mind. Commit 5 minutes instead of 10 mins if that is what you are capable of. Find the best ones that work for you and practice every day.
